I decided to try my hand at six-pack batches. I have been listening/watching the guys from Basic Brewing (James Spencer and Steve Wilkes) and they've done a lot of six-pack batches over the years. I decided to give it a try. My brew day was July 16, 2015.
My first three batches were 1 lb each of light DME with either one ounce of Mosaic, one ounce of El Dorado, or an ounce of Waimea hops. For some reason, I used distilled water with these batches and I'm not sure if it was that, but these beers (experiments or "X"s 1, 2 and 3) were major bombs. Not even one bottle was drinkable.
I don't think I'll do labels for my experiments again...
